It's Nana's Birthday

This year Nana is here with us in Australia to celebrate her birthday. This would be memorable for all of us. The day started with a huge breakfast made especially for her. Then we wished her happy birthday and gave her gifts.
Nana then wanted to talk to U/Ryan and A/Tracy. It was a long call and A/Tracy was even getting late to go to work in Sri Lanka. Anyway it was all good fun.
In the after noon, the phone was non stop ringing; it was calls from Canada, India, New Zealand and many parts of Sri Lanka. It was telephone overload, one after another..... Telstra Australia would have got a shock. Nana was so thrilled to get birthday wishes from all over the world.
At night, Thathi and Ammi decided to have a surprise party for her. She did not see it coming, Ammi, but mostly thathi did the cooking. Ammi was looking after mallie. Nana did not know anything, until the visitors started coming. She definitely enjoyed the day, so did we. Here are some photos. The menu was, Duck, Eggplant (wambatu pahi), potatoes, roast pork, Dhal, Beans and Salad with rice of course.
